I never thought of sticking my head, or butt, or maybe even my whole body, in a freezer! I have one in my garage!

I can see it now. My husband will come home from work, all the frozen food will be on the garage floor and I'll be sitting in the freezer telling him, "I'm SO freaken HOT!"

It wouldn't surprise him. Nothing I do does. ;-)

I'll get through it. I just wish it wouldn't take so long!Pamela D Harthttp://www.hartsbeat.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-726094983703031160.post-29586728137265758342012-06-03T11:47:27.305-04:002012-06-03T11:47:27.305-04:00Ah...menopause. Especially the temperature changes that would swing from raging hot to freezing cold in five minutes...
I used the over the counter herbal remedies, especially those with black cohosh and cranberry extract, and they did help.
You'll get through this, as do we all...some of us by planting our hot butts into a floor freezer in the middle of the grocery store....or our heads.Jonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-726094983703031160.post-87927263533231832272012-05-31T00:00:56.214-04:002012-05-31T00:00:56.214-04:00Grammy, I make long term plans and they get shot t...Grammy, I make long term plans and they get shot to shit. I hate that.

I used to be cold all the time. Now I'm like you, sweating like a whore in a church (ROFLOL!). And yes, the mood swings are like being on a freaken roller coaster that NEVER ends! WTF? I'm hungry but for FOOD, like BIG meals.

Well, we can whine to each other, k? Because my hubby and kids are about sick of me ;-)Pamela D Harthttp://www.hartsbeat.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-726094983703031160.post-2905346031641882752012-05-29T22:20:08.069-04:002012-05-29T22:20:08.069-04:00 I make plans, I change my plans when said plans g... I make plans, I change my plans when said plans go to hell in a hand basket....Then I scrap the whole plan and start over. It's a vicious cycle, but it keeps me busy so that I have no time to dwell on the fact that I'm ALWAYS hot, I sweat like a whore in church during the night, my mood swings would give a normal person whiplash and I CAN'T STOP EATING....Grammynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-726094983703031160.post-57565624275172098632012-05-29T12:45:31.541-04:002012-05-29T12:45:31.541-04:00Bill, I have to modify mine too. Maybe I should STOP trying to make plans and just go with the flow...but I'm not sure I'm capable of that!

If I figure out a way to NOT go stark raving mad, you'll be the FIRST to know! I'm up all night long, too. I would love to get ONE good night of sleep. I've opted out of hormone replacement therapy too. But I want to look into natural methods. I'll let you know what I find.

I'm hanging...by my fingernails!

Thank you!Pamela D Harthttp://www.hartsbeat.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-726094983703031160.post-87584616317996220722012-05-28T20:51:38.373-04:002012-05-28T20:51:38.373-04:00My plans seem to work out, but only because they g...My plans seem to work out, but only because they get modified along the way. In the end, it seems like they are working out, but I have never really gone back in time to consider whether they were the original plans. I think that's called living in the moment.Bill-The Authentic Lifehttp://www.living-authentically.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-726094983703031160.post-13670952884901861262012-05-28T15:54:29.779-04:002012-05-28T15:54:29.779-04:00Ooh ooh! The only time MY plans work out is when we agree on a time to meet somewhere for dinner and everyone gets there within a few minutes of the time we set. I've tried not to make plans any bigger than that.

As for the menopause, well sweetie, if you figure out some way through this without going stark raving mad? Please let me know! It sounds like you suffer way more than I do though. My worst complaint so far is waking up at all hours of the night, sometimes multiple times a night because of the sweats. I do have hot flashes but they're not frequent and so far I've been able to deal.

I opted out of traditional hormone replacement therapy but I've had good results with over the counter meds like Estroven and the generic versions of that. For what that's worth.

Hang in there my friend; it IS supposed to get better...eventually.Bubbehttp://blatherbybubbe.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-726094983703031160.post-22233903832942098272012-05-28T15:49:32.068-04:002012-05-28T15:49:32.068-04:00Pam, I LOVE your title for this post. It seems the more we have free time, the harder it is to get things accomplished. I'm actually much better at accomplishing things if I busy, because then I plan things out on my calendar, so I get it done. Yet, when I have TONS of free time, I'm all over the place!

Congrats on your new car!!!! And honey, I'm the SAME way when it comes to picking out a vehicle. In fact, I'm the same way when it comes to picking out ANYTHING. I'm a typical Libra, we have a hard time making decisions. Yet, when it comes to big life decisions, I can make them in a snap. Isn't that weird?

"Do plans EVER work out the way we intend?"

Well, as far as I can tell, no. But usually (for me, anyway) they usually turn out BETTER than intended. Yet, I don't usually realize that until after it happens.

OMG...talk about menopause and PMS. I felt like that yesterday. Between the heat and humidity we've been having, and the nasty customers I encountered at work, I wanted to scream. In fact, I think I did - HA!

Great post, my friend! Sending ya a BIG hug...

(((((((((((((((((((((( You ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Have a fantabulous rest of your weekend. And Happy Memorial Day to you and your family!

XRonhttp://www.triloquist.netnoreply@blogger.com
