Soft Moss & Sunlight

Soft moss swims in sunlight
 Glistening like a shiny diamond
 Upon her finger it strikes
Like a knife within his heart
 It shatters his soul
 From moonlight’s wings
 Its essence soon burns
 Yearning for release
 He runs
 Upon the soft moss
Bathed in sunlight
He finds relief

Such a wonderful poet you are!

Love the image. It goes so well with your words.

Have a great Saturday, my friend!

    1. Ron, thank you! I've never had any "formal" poetry training so just write what I feel.
